I have made some really good meals these last two weeks. One of our favorites is Orange Creole Chicken
this was really good.
Another one I made last week was Campfire Burgers, these were really good too
just use either SF BBQ sauce or make your own and it's very low carb. Minus the bun of course. Very very tasty.
I think my hardest part of this life style change is the fact that every time I turn around someone is saying something different about the Low Carb/High Fat life style. Who do you believe. Each diet/nutritionist say something different. Just two days ago on Dr. Oz, Chris Powell was on there say do high carbs one day for one meal and low carbs for the rest of the day and the next day do low carb Stitch on and off during the week. So who do you believe? I still having a problem with the sugar even contacted a couple places to try and get samples for their sweeteners and no they don't have samples. You would think that if they wanted your business they would have samples. I will tell you this thou, I email THM - Trim Healthy Mamas and the email I got back was no help to me what so ever. I asked about sampling their sugar and rice products but they don't do samples. I am not asking them to go out of their way for me but I am not buying 6 bags of rice and not like them. I can't afford it. I still have a family to feed.
Today I am making this for lunch to have with my bbf and can't wait to chat with her today.
Pork Dumplings and Dipping Sauce, they look so good
UPDATE: these were so good, we loved them.
and for dinner I making this
I am adding chicken sausage to make it one complete meal. I have been into fried cabbage of all of sudden and you know what else I have found out I LOVE fried corn. LOL It's soooooooooo good.
UPDATE: These was really good too, I add fennel seeds too it besides by chicken sausage. It was really good.
Tomorrow I am going to make haddock.
This recipe is for Tilapia but I am going to use haddock, that is my favorite fish.
Doesn't that look just divine, I can't to have it tomorrow with a nice salad.
Tomorrow I will try to post next weeks recipes for the week. I have them all planned and groceries list done. I find it so much easier if I plan my meals for the week, then I don't have to think about it that night. If I have a plan then I know what I need to do.
UPDATE: these was really good on Haddock, thou next time I won't use as much paprika, I love paprika but sometimes when you have to much of it, you lose the flavors of the other spices. Just going to cut back on it a bit.
