20 July 2015

I know it's been a while since I have posted been kind of lazy and kind of busy all at the same time. Also been in a mood too. Things haven't gone all that great with things.  My daughter has been away since last Thursday, she is spending a week with her Aunt in Rochester. Hopefully having a really great time. She loves going there. So just me and hubby and I have made some great meals where I only had to cook for us, half the time she won't eat what we are eating.

If you get a chance you have to have Korean BBQ, it is so good. Specially Bulgogi it is so so good. I cheated this week usually I make my own marinate but we had bought a jar of Korean BBQ sauce so I decided to use that and it was really good. Also cheated on my life style change cause we ordered Chinese's appetizers to go with the steak.

Friday night I made  Louisiana BBQ Shrimp, this was so good.  Really good my husband loved it. The recipe I used was by Wish Upon a Dish blog.
now doesn't that look divine. I boo booed with the recipe thought it said 1 1/2 TBSP of hot sauce but it was 1 1/2 tsp. But it wasn't too hot for me. I mean it had a kick to it, but I could stand it. You have to have a baguette to sop up the broth. It is delicious.

Saturday I decided to make my own pizzas Yes I have been very bad on my lifestyle change cause some of it has been being depressed. I am going to back to today, I have too cause my stomach bloated up really bad.
My husband told me this morning that I made these best pizza he has ever had, now that is a compliment. I will agree it was the greatest pizza. I sued store bought pizza dough, and I buttered my cookie sheet before putting the dough on it. This made the crust nice and crispy, really good. I was so impressed.
I found on Pinterst a low carb pizza sauce that is the bomb. I mean the bomb.
I don't know where the recipe came from so I am sorry about that. And I was just able to find it the recipe is from Simply Scratch
You simply have to make this sauce.

I decided to make a fruit salad to go with the shrimp. I had my semi hot and spicy shrimp and my sweet, tasty fruit salad the best of both worlds.
Rainbow Fruit Salad with Citrus-Honey Dressing and Fresh Mint by The Cozy Apron blog. This salad is so good, not too sweet just right but you do have to add the mint it makes the world of difference. We loved it.

Yesterday we had BBQ chicken from the local volunteer fire department, its is the boom. I love it.
